Therapist Doesn’t Think Spirituality is Important
“I like to think that I’m a spiritual person. I go to church pretty regularly, and I try to live a good life in general. I also struggle with anorexia, which I am going to a therapist to work through. What I’m having a hard time understanding is how exactly my faith can play a role in my recovery journey. My therapist doesn’t seem too worried about that particular aspect (spirituality), but there’s something inside of me that says I should at least explore it. What do you think?”
